The Alderney Sailing Club is now fully recognised by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) as a Sail Training Centre for both theory and practical. Due to increased interest in dinghy sailing by young sailors, the Alderney sailing club has ordered six "Pico" Laser Dinghies which will arrive in the middle of April.

The club is purchasing four at a cost of £6,000, the Le Riche Centenary fund have sponsored one, and we are looking for another sponsor (£1,500) for the sixth "Pico".  This would then complete the number required for the Youth Sail Training Project.

The Sailing Club will show thanks to the sponsors by placing a plaque, bearing their names, in a prominent position in the club for all to see who made the Sail Training Project possible.
